About:  Chandu was actually Frank Chandler, an American secret agent who used ancient occult powers he learned from a Hindu yougi to cambat evil.  Created by Harry Earnshaw and Vera Oldman, the 15-minute program originated on Los Angeles radio station KHJ in 1932 and ran on Mutual until 1936, sponsered in the west by White King Soap and in the east by Beech-Nut Products.  Fox released a feature film in 1932 with Edmund Lowe as Chandu and Bela Lugois as the villian Roxor.  The serial The Return of Chandu was released in 1934 with Lugosi as Chandu.  A GREAT ADDITION TO YOUR COLLECTION!
